Stefan De Vrij Inter Milan

Fresh from a strong finish to the Serie A season which saw them endas runners-up,Inter face Getafe this week for a place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Getafe were fourth in La Liga when the season restartedbut just one win in their final 11 games saw them slump to an eighth placed finish, which is a still a positive achievement given Los Azulones' budget yet some way below what had been expected.

This is the first ever meeting between these two sides and bet365 offer a win in 90 minutes for the Italians at 7/10 (1.70), while the Nerazzurri are offered at 1/3 (1.33) to qualify.

Jose Bordalas' side can be backed at 4/1 (5.00) to claim victory without extra time and at 9/4 (3.25) to progress in the tournament.

The hosts are without Uruguyan midfielder Matias Vecino and Ghanaian defender Kwadwo Asamoah, who are both injured.

Getafe can no longer call up the services of Kenedy and Deyverson with the duo having left the club, while centre-back Erick Cabaco is not eligible to play in the Europa League.

An eighth-placed finished would ordinarily be cause for celebration of a job well done for Getafe, yet having been battling for the top four for so much of the 2019/20 campaign, Bordalas' men understandably will feel a little deflated.

The manager relied heavily on the same core of players, lacking the squad depth to face the intense schedule which was organised to complete the La Liga season and in the end the team ran out of steam.

They also ran out of goals, failing to score in five of their last six matches, which is in stark contrast to Inter who netted at least two goals in 11 of their last 13 Serie A clashes.

The Italians have plenty of momentum behind them and should be able to overcome out of form opponents.

Backing Inter to win and under 2.5 goals in the game at 5/2 (3.50) looks like an interesting option as whilst Getafe are always stubborn opposition even when not at their best, but Conte's side could have enough to edge them in a tight game.
